Funding
Investing in people, programs and communities that make a positive difference.
Committed to Those Who Invest in Others
Every investment made by the Wadsworth Golf Charities Foundation is guided by a simple principle: support initiatives that create lasting value for individuals, organizations and the communities they serve. Inspired by the values of golf, we direct our resources toward opportunities that foster personal growth, expand access to education, strengthen charitable organizations and encourage service to others.
Our funding philosophy emphasizes long-term impact over short-term results, partnering with programs that demonstrate purpose, accountability and measurable outcomes. Through Program Grants, Special Projects and the Wadsworth Scholars initiative, the Foundation supports efforts that reflect our commitment to integrity, self-discipline and charity.
We support programs that extend the positive influence of golf beyond the course, creating opportunities that inspire leadership and enrich lives.
Program Grants
The Foundation’s Program Grants provide financial support to nonprofit organizations whose missions align with our commitment to developing people and strengthening communities. We invest in initiatives that expand educational opportunities, promote leadership, encourage healthy lifestyles and improve quality of life. By partnering with organizations that demonstrate measurable impact and responsible stewardship, the Foundation transforms charitable contributions into meaningful outcomes that benefit individuals and families, and the communities they live in.
Special Projects
Some opportunities require targeted support to preserve the game’s legacy, address emerging needs or create lasting benefits. Through Special Projects, the Foundation invests in initiatives that may fall outside traditional grant programs but closely reflect our mission and values. These strategic investments are designed to make a meaningful difference while extending the positive influence of golf beyond the course, whether supporting educational resources, community-focused initiatives or industry collaborations.
Wadsworth Scholars
The Wadsworth Scholars program invests in the future by supporting aspiring golf course architects and emerging industry professionals who demonstrate exceptional promise and character. Through scholarships and professional development opportunities, the Foundation helps prepare future leaders while reinforcing the values of integrity, self-discipline and service. The Foundation’s focus on lifelong learning and leadership is brought to life by those who have been named Wadsworth Scholar recipients.
“Because of your generosity and steadfast support, we are moving full speed ahead with Phase 2 of construction. Your belief in this vision is what keeps the momentum strong and the progress steady. Thank you for being such an essential part of this journey – we truly couldn’t do it without you.”
