A commitment to service inspired by golf’s enduring values.
The Wadsworth Golf Charities Foundation, the charitable arm of the Wadsworth Golf Construction Company, was established in 1997. But our roots are much deeper. The Foundation grew from the original Wadsworth Social Responsibility Program, founded by Brent Wadsworth in 1980. Since its creation, the Foundation has served organizations that live out our original mission:
To make golf and the character-building attributes of the game more accessible to more people, with the ultimate goal of helping the world become a more honorable, gentler and friendlier place.
Today, we remain dedicated to improving society through the embodiment of the moral, ethical and cultural codes of the game of golf.
The Wadsworth Foundation values are reflected in the missions of the organizations and foundations selected to receive funding. We fund programs and projects throughout the United States for youth and adults that meet our mission.
Links Across America initiated, providing golf facility access to youth and beginner golfers.
ASGCA Foundation/Wadsworth Scholar Program introduced, providing scholarship support to the next generation of golf course architects and golf course developers.
Wadsworth Golf Charities surpasses $10 million in contributions since its founding.
