Requirements for the Plan to be Successful
- First – the
Wadsworth Foundation partners with communities, park districts, forest
preserve districts, YMCA’s, First Tee Chapters, existing courses that
have land or school districts that have the means to secure or donate the land for the Links short courses and driving range facilities.
- Second – Our Team of Company Partners, who consist of golf course architects, golf course builders and company suppliers from the Golf Industry –are
committed to whenever possible contributing profit, goods or services
to create the short courses at a significantly lower cost.
- Third – the plan
goes beyond just the design and construction phase and provides
assistance in the operational costs of the “feeder short course
facilities,” the Links Team of Company Suppliers from the Golf
Industry provide savings in course equipment, range equipment, computer
tee time & POS software, clubhouse design, budgets and financial
pro-forma’s.
- Fourth – The Wadsworth Foundation must make sure all the team Partners receive RECOGNITION for their efforts and involvement in Links Across America.Finally – the Wadsworth Golf Charities Foundation will make a financial contribution to each short course project.
